Davis Thurber and Claudia Joyal Laplante have been dancing together since January 2009 when they started training for the Frankie95 Hellzapoppin’ performance (see below) with The Ninjammerz. Since then they placed 1st in: the 2010 ILHC Team Division; the 2009 CSC Jack and Jill; the 2009 Lindy Focus ULFC Lindy Hop Contest. They placed 2nd in: the 2010 ILHC Showcase Division; the 2010 Couples Contest at Jazz Jam in Stockholm (tie); the 2010 ULFC Partner Contest; the 2009 ILHC Open Strictly Lindy Hop contest. They also placed 3rd in the 2009 Lindy Focus Showcase division.

Davis and Claudia dance and teach a variety of styles: Lindy Hop, Charleston, Balboa, West Coast Swing, Blues, Solo Jazz, Tap, and Solo Blues. Their teaching resume includes large workshops such as Boston Tea Party, Swing Out New Hampshire, Lindy Focus, Beantown, Steel City Blues, Swingin’ New England, SparX, and Quebec Swing Rendevous. They have also taught solo weekend workshops around the United States, and in countries around the world: Sweden, Finland, Switzerland, and Canada.
